EXTERIOR PAINTING PROCEDURE
OLD FASION BRUSH & ROLL, NOT SPRAYER! = THICKER COATS OF PAINT
Preparation starts with a well equipped and organized paint van or truck. Having all the tools and materials that a paint craftsperson might need on hand and easily accessed promotes a quick and efficient painting job.
PREP:
• 1st Pressure wash with 3200 PSI machine to remove most loose paint and dirt.
• Replace dry rotted and termite damaged wood. (If approved by homowner)
• Scrape and sand loose paint. This is the secret to a long lasting and beautiful paint job! In some cases a complete removal of old paint may be necessary (down to bare wood).
• Prime bare wood.
APPLICATION:
• When not using spray method, minimal masking will be necessary.
• Our choice of paint is much superior to Dunn Edwards! We use a much higher viscus Paint/Primer in one.
• Apply to wood and stucco with good old fashion roller for a much thicker coat of paint!!
• Using a roller, pushes the paint deep into the nooks and crannies of the stucco and wood for a superior bond and seal.
• Skillfully cutting-in with brush.
• Skilled painters, no over spray on roof etc...
• Special attention paid to clean up!
